Description:

This hands-on training will introduce participants to the paramount principles of structuring data for analysis. Functions and formulas useful for organizing and analyzing data will be presented.

Case study datasets will be used. Participants are encouraged to bring a USB to save their work for future reference and independent study.

Facilitator: Dereck Norville, Institutional Research Specialist, Hostos Community College Office of Institutional Research and Student Assessment (OIRSA)

Dereck received his master’s degree from Columbia University School of Social Work, studying policy analysis, research, and evaluation.
